What a day! I am humbled and inspired, grateful and thrilled for this vast outpouring of support.

On just one day, in honor of the 234th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, the new American revolutionaries brought in $6.04 million, another one-day record. The average donation was $102; we had 58,407 individual contributors, of whom an astounding 24,915 were first-time donors. And it was an entirely voluntary, self-organized, decentralized, independent effort on the internet. Must be the "spammers" I keep hearing about!

The establishment is baffled and worried, and well they should be. They keep asking me who runs our internet fundraising and controls our volunteers. Two years ago I gave out copies of John Linder and Neal Boortz’s "The FairTax Book". This year I am giving out copies of Ron Paul’s "A Foreign Policy of Freedom: Peace, Commerce, and Honest Friendship". These two books are currently connected to the campaigns of these two republican presidential candidates.

Americans are so fed up with the federal income tax system, and all of the games and gimmicks that are part of it, that they are ready for change. The Fair Tax has the potential to make that change happen. If enacted, all of the disparate taxes along the production chain of a product will be collected at the end, when the product is purchased by the consumer. This allows each of us to know how much we are really paying in Federal Taxes. To get this plan past liberals it has been touted as "revenue neutral" by Boortz and Linder.

Under the Fair Tax, you could purchase an item at the store for $100, and $23 of the cost would be imbedded Federal Income taxes.

That is a great idea. Before Ron Paul’s campaign began to grow at the grassroots level, I may have even agreed that this was the best that we can do. But Ron Paul plans to go one step further: Eliminate the IRS and the Federal Income Tax.

"old buck" is not under arrest!

i just got off the phone with old buck and he tells me he hasnt been arrested. he wasnt even aware that his myspace page had been hacked. it had been removed for the dozenth time for "terms of service violations" but after this last time the feds took it over just like ed and elaines. he said i was the one that informed him that it happened. he just gave up on myspace completely. he tells me the feds have been in touch with him and he did go to speak with them but he wouldnt speak...lol... so they took his prints (finger and palm) to compare against any possible evidence from "explosives" and such found at the house. he tells me he is not worried because he did nothing wrong except share a few meals with the browns over the course of 6 weeks. they did inform him however that they will charge him if they have even the slightest chance to. so for now he lays low but is not hiding per lawyers advice. i will keep in touch with buck and inform everyone when any updates happen.

1) $18,202,679 raised in the 4th quarter

2) 26,393 new donors this week alone

3) 119,940 total donors this quarter

Conclusion:

a. Ron Paul's campaign was the beneficiary of a 28% increase in donors during the last week alone - ie. 119,940 - 26,393 = 93,547 and 26,393 is 28% of 93,547.

b. The average individual donation is $151 - ie. $18,202,679 / 119,940 = $151.76

c. With two full weeks left to the end of the year Ron Paul has already raised 52% more than his campaign's fundraising goal for the entire quarter - ie. $18,202,679 - $12,000,000 = $6,202,679 which is 52%+ of the $12 million goal.

There is a palpable good-evil, dark-light aspect to this campaign. It's basically Ron Paul vs Everybody Else. The Bearer of Light vs the Darkside.

Paul brings peace, freedom, prosperity, self-reliance and a restoration to the Constitution and its values. There is light surrounding him and his campaign.

The Darkside brings more war, taxation, empire building and the trampling of freedom and rights. There is darkness here, despite the smiling faces and clever quips.

In our conversations with others, using "the Darkside" to describe the other candidates is a fine summary in one word.

Hillary Clinton? She's with the Darkside.
Rudy Giuliani? He's with the Darkside too.

some of you may remember a few days back i posted about a guy that went by the name "old buck" who camped out on the browns property in his camper for about 6 weeks this summer. he informed the marshalls and police he was there but was unarmed and would stay that way. he last posted through his myspace saying that the federal prosecutors had contacted his lawyer to have him come in and speak to them. he asked if they were offering "immunity" they said no the lawyer said no back. jim aka:old buck said he wouldnt speak even with immunity because he didnt do anything wrong! they told his lawyer , who wrote a book that ron paul wrote the forward to, that if he didnt speak to them they are going to do everything they can to indict him. he said so indict me! \

today i try to contact jim through his myspace page and it has been hijacked by the same thugs that hijacked ed and elaines time2makeastand website. it looks identical and the only "friend" is ed and elaines old page now labeled as "showing ed and elaine brown supporters the law" jims old myspace is myspace.com/twostraws see for yourself. he is now unreachable. if anyone has seen or heard from jim please let us know. if he has been arrested we would like to verify his safety.

we do not know if he has been arrested or how long the page has been taken over for but if history is a guide ed and elaines page wasnt hijacked until several days after their arrest.

This is eds new address for his facility in oklahoma. it is a transfer facility and he will only be there for between 3 weeks to 3 months until they determine which facility he will be housed in permanently. this is an important time for ed to talk to legal counsel because there is always a chance counsel can get him transfered to a prison closer to new hampshire so he can have access to the courts there. otherwise they will probably transfer him to a prison further away to keep him away from family and friends. anyone can keep up on eds whereabouts by going to the bureau of prisons website and there is an "inmate locator". he can be found with his name edward brown and his inmate number. if he is in transit to a new prison it will not show until he is on site at the new facility.

we also would like people to know that we are working very very hard at obtaining ed legal counsel, which we have had some success with this week. however there has been a slight set-back with a very large ice storm in oklahoma that may have prevented calls into the prison for at least a day. hopefully we will have some good news to report on that issue soon. however until then we ask that people do not call lawyers on their own to ask for their help. there have been several names of well known lawyers that have been mentioned and we would like people to know that if they start calling these people on their own then they may actually be contacting people we have already contacted and we do not want to scare these people away if they have offered help by deluging them with supporters emails or calls. we appreciate the help on this matter but it has been very difficult to get help for ed and now that we have reached a point where some people have offered to help we dont want to risk losing those ties. we hope you all understand this.

if anyone has any concerns regarding ed and elaines welfare or you just have general questions about them these are the people to call. they are the counselors that are supposed to ensure the safety of each inmates mental and physical health. elaine tells me that her counselor has been brushing her off lately. she writes " my counselor is useless. he pretty much shrugs me off, then dashes away. he did resend the original request for permission to write, but never got back to me."
if these people start receiving calls in support of ed and elaine letting the counselors know that there are many, many people out here concerned about there welfare, maybe they will be treated better. it certainly cant hurt. tell them you have heard ed has been very sick and you are concerned and want to inquire about it. even if they blow you off they cant ignore a large quantity of calls which in itself will speak volumes! imagine 500 people calling the prison per week, or 1000, or 10,000 remember we have the power to take back control of almost any situation if we act together!

bob wolffe also wrote to me asking if there was support out here. i told him there was a lot of support but that most of it is split into 2 sides. one side being the "voyeur activist" just looking for good "entertainment" and the other side being people who are generally concerned but they are scared. scared to stand out, scared to end up on a list, scared to be shipped away to prison, scared to be forgotten, scared to be ridiculed, scared scared scared.... he wants everyone to know that the fear that you feel inside of you exists only in your head. he writes: "make sure people know that fear is mostly within, they must learn to face it and it will go away. "...."remind people that WE THE PEOPLE are the government! once WE assert our authority, the fear will be gone."

danny tells me that letters are like gold to him, as they are to all of the inmates, he has claimed indigent status so he does not want anyone sending him any money for his commissary account because it will cause him to lose his status and have to pay for everything out of his own pocket like filing fees and such. and with a case pending before the supreme court of new hampshire currently, that could get expensive quickly! lots of people have told me that they want to write to them but dont know what to say. in response to that i say, JUST SAY HI!! tell them your name, tell them where your from, how you heard about them, tell them thank you! tell them their sacrifice wasnt in vain. that what they did awoke thousands if not millions of people to injustice in our own country. tell them they wont be forgotten......just tell them something. with the exceptions of ed (who has his mail delayed or stopped) and danny (who is only allowed to send out 2 personal letters per week due to his indigent status) they will all respond to you, and it would be the best christmas gifts they could possibly get, to receive hundreds of letters from supporters in the week before christmas and the weeks leading up to their trials which start january 28th i believe. for those wondering what they can do to help, THIS IS IT! you can keep them from going stir crazy for the time they have to waste inside those walls!

hello,

my name is Keith champagne. i am currently working
with several people, including David hatch-bernier
Elaine browns son, to help secure a lawyer and funding
for the defense of ed and Elaine brown. as most of you
know they are currently in federal prison locked away
from society for the next 5 years because they dared
to ask the government to show them the law that makes
them liable for the income tax.

we believe we have found both lawyers to help ed and
elaine and a way to fund their defense. that brings me
to the point of this email. we are asking people, many
of you who have already signed the quest for a fair
trial petition, to do one more thing for us. we want
as many people as possible (there are currently 1800
signatures on the petition, that would be nice) to
take a photo of themselves holding a small sign that
says something like " give ed and elaine a fair trial"
or " the browns trial was a sham" or something along
those lines. we would like to start distributing this
petition to politicians etc and we would really like
to compile as many photos as possible (putting faces
to the names) of brown supporters and give these
photos with messages of support right in the pictures
to keith olbermann and lou dobbs. we would hope that
by handing these two gentleman 1800 pictures of
supporters as opposed to a list of 1800 names they
would understand the dramatic nature of this case and
it would give it a personal touch that may lead to
some coverage! both keith olbermann and lou dobbs
represent our best hope of gaining national media
attention for the browns.

we hope we can get as many supporters as possible to
do this and if you do we ask that beside the photo of
yourself you also include your name and city and
state. we do not need any more info than that. but we
would like to put the info onto each photo, either
first name or last or both. you can take a picture of
yourself alone, with your family, with your pets, as a
group of people, with your children as long as in the

Elaine's Affidavit on Events of Their Kidnapping

Ed and I were captured in the evening of Thursday October 4th 2007, after making our stand in our home since January.

The previous weekend, Dutch/Dan was introduced to us by one of our trusted friends and supporters. He and Dutch/Dan arrived unexpectedly at our home very late one night, around midnight as I recall. Dutch/Dan had been working his way into the confidence of our friend for some time, professing to be a supporter and sympathizer of us and our cause.

Dutch/Dan stayed with us for a day or so, offering to aid us in any way. He claimed to be a bounty hunter, living in New York someplace. I do not recall if he said exactly where. He asked to have some broken fillings replaced, which I did, and for which he paid me (which of course was then confiscated). When I told him I wanted to get the rest of my dental supplies from my dental office, he offered to get them for me. He went back and forth to New York a couple of times during the week, so he said, getting in touch with some associates to assist him in getting the supplies. He scouted out the office to see what kind of security was there. Again so he said.

I had asked him why he would take such a risk for someone he didn’t even know his answer was "because I love you guys"

News About Elaine From "Keith" From Rhode Island

"Keith" came on today's show on RBN to share an update about information regarding an attempt to contact a lawyer who can help/assist Elaine and Ed. They have contacted two lawyers who have finally contacted the prison where Ed is located. It's going to take time to set up mail and phone access with the two lawyers who are involved.

Keith is on an email contact list directly with Elaine. Elaine's prison is a minimum security facility which allows her to go outside anytime. Money is very important. Magazine subscriptions are accepted. Hardcover books can be sent only directly from a hardcover distributor-manufacturer. Email access costs Elaine 5 cents per minute so even a $1 dollar donation is worth 20 minutes of email access time which is a godsend.

Keith attended the July 14th concert at the Browns home where he met Danny Riley, Ed, Elaine and others. He lives 1/4 mile away from the Wyatt Detention Center in Rhode Island which is where Ed was detained days, tortured and gassed - Elaine was actually arrived at this same facility before Ed arrived and remained there for a few days, too. Elaine found is very ironic that she was first detained at this facility for it was/is located in the town where she was born - Central Falls Rhode Island. This information really struck a nerve with Keith that was very close to home. He stepped up from there to help out.

Ed was recently moved form Elkton Ohio to a facility in Oklahoma City. This was done, but the words that came from Ed via a letter to Elaine seemed to indicate that the Federal Marshals told the prison officials in Ohio that Ed should be labeled "militia" - ie. a threat - who could potentially "influence" other prisoners to support his "cause" etc. Elaine may face the same transfer in the near future.

Elaine had a broken hand prior to her arrest but, according to Elaine, the prisons officials have done nothing to assist/help/treat this injury.

Elaine attempted to file an injunction to stop the seizure of their properties in the Plainfield NH area, including the office building, home, land and property which is still remains in a trust.

There are two types of political candidates. There are those who start strong and those who finish strong. Republican Ron Paul says he's shooting for the second option.

The Texas Congressman is in Sioux City Tuesday spreading what he calls the Ron Paul Revolution. KMEG 14's Denise Hnytka explains.

Compared with this summer, Ron Paul says he's feeling much more optimistic about his standing in the race for the Republican nomination. He told a Sioux City crowd he hasn't hit his peak just yet.
