This is my current list of officials to contact and voice our support for Ed. I'd appreciate it if someone could post it on the blog more prominently and perhaps put up a permanent link to it....unles there is a better list somewhere.

Ed & Elaine are monument to what our founding fathers meant when they created the Constitution. They put a face to what the creators of the Constitution meant by "We the People". It's truly amazing that so many choose to ignore what is happening to our country. My husband says to me why do you waste your time with all these things, He Said even if I want to believe in half of what you claim; you know there's nothing any of us can do! Being an optimist I believe we can if we stand together. I told him; look at what they did to the Jews; I don't want to be a sheep lead to slaughter, to go willingly without a dang good fight.
Our leaders are allowing Illegal immigrants into our Country for several reasons, not the least of which is it gives them power. The more people they can get to be dependent on the government the more powerful they become. The real sad part is that within the next ten or fifteen years we the people will become the minority. Who will fight for our rights then? Their own country wasn't worth the effort to fight for, why would they fight here?
Pres. Bush has given 7000 Iraqi's visas to America.... So now we will be importing the Shiites and Sunnis so they can bring their fight here on our land.
Don't misunderstand me... I have nothing against legal immigrants.... after all they helped build our Great Nation we have today... the immigrants brought their cultures, most for the betterment of man kind... But its got to make you wonder what culture Islam has to offer other than a fanatical religion and war. We have to start looking at the broader picture Folks.. The excuse of not having enough time is over, because if you don't start seeing things for what they truly are it will be too late, for us, our children, and grandchildren...

A person can only be a convicted felon after they have had a fair trial before a fully informed jury where they are allowed to call witness and cross examine the government witness on the law. Jury instructions are where the court trumps the jury powers and denies due process.
Some day Anonymous, you may be the one in the hot seat. Maybe it will be a different issue you will have to defend. Do you want every opportunity to a fair trial or should we just let the plaintiff and court take you down, and make it LOOK like you had a trial?
The jurors have the power to ignore the court's instructions and bring in a not guilty verdict contrary to the law and the facts. Horning v. District of Columbia, 254 U.S. 135, 138, 41 S.Ct. 53, 54, 65 L.Ed. 185 (1920).
But they should not be told by the court that they have this power.
United States v. Krzyske, 836 F.2d 1013, 1021 (6th Cir.), cert. denied, 488 U.S. 832, 109 S.Ct. 89, 102 L.Ed.2d 65 (1988); United States v. Burkhart, 501 F.2d 993, 996-997 (6th Cir.1974), cert. denied, 420 U.S. 946, 95 S.Ct. 1326, 43 L.Ed.2d 424 (1975).
They should instead be told that it is their duty to accept and apply the law as given to them by the court. United States v. Avery, supra at 1027.

Ron Paul will be in New Hampshire next week for the liberty forum in concord and presumably to indirectly mobilize activists for his presidential run.
Fred I saw the Handmaid's tale right after I got back from bosnia the first time, in 1993...and it reminded me bosnias can happen here if the government gets too big as it did there!
If Ed and Elaine think they have been wrongly convicted, then they can appeal just like Lynne Meredith, Phil Marsh, Irwin Schiff, Larken Rose, etc., etc., etc.
Of course, the fact that they did not even try to put on a defense will not be good for their position.
To the writer "V." The one word, which blazingly stood out in your blog was "fair." Fair is the ANTIthesis of what the Browns received! That is why Ed Brown didn't even bother showing up for court the last couple days... because virtually EVERY motion, to enter evidence & call witnesses, was denied! If ya don't believe me, look @ the official transcripts yourself! He was railroadedn in a Kangaroo court! In addition, the jury was instructed to rule, based on law as the judge instructed... so much for an impartial jury!
And as for the appeal... WHY would they even bother appealing, only to be railroaded in/from a corrupt system by a grossly malfeasant judge again?!?
Perhaps all their motions were wrong, just like their entire theory?
Ed is a conspiracy wacko, in case you haven't noticed, and his motions were full of conspiracy junk.
