Tyranny at the Texas Straw Poll Ron Paul

Well...

If you think the game is fixed now, just wait until the actual primaries.

At the risk of beating a dead horse, I'll say it again: the Corporatocracy will never allow Dr. Paul to get the nomination. [Slight correction: they will only allow it IF they believe that their annointed candidate would beat Ron Paul in a landslide. But I don't believe that they will take the risk.]

After 43 years of trying to change the system within the bounds of the system, many of us have realized that's futile. Perhaps after the primaries the rest of you will agree.

At that time hopefully we will finally get organized in one central place---a website (the only practical choice) whose sole purpose will be to propose, discuss, coordinate, and implement effective action in the area of civil disobedience.

we should just set up our own election. Bush isn't even President.

Not a bad idea, Jeremy. That could be done on a central website.

I would carry it a step further. We should form a New Republic of the United States by emigrating back to our status as individual sovereigns, or as some call it, "freemen (which includes women) on the land". Being under a Government is VOLUNTARY, and the land of the United States is not the same thing as the present U.S. Govt. The present Govt of the U.S. does not own the land, although they claim to own the National Parks, etc.

Our New Republic would have to exist side-by-side with the present Govt, but over time (if enough people eventually participated) the old way of doing things would pass away.

Why should people who are fed up with the lies, propaganda, deception, abrogation of the Constitution, unlawful exercise of power, and lack of true representation...and who have ZERO chance of changing things within the corrupt system...continue to put up with the status quo?

Sometime Google the video, "Bursting Bubbles of Government Deception". The guy is a Canadian, but the principles (in general) apply here as well.

Emigrating back to the land as sovereigns is another form of civil disobedience. The basis of such action is the "Declaration of Independence", which clearly states that people have unalienable rights...and illustrates that those rights are independent of ANY Govt.

Would there be consequences? Of course. But again, I urge everyone to watch "Bursting Bubbles of Government Deception". The guy is on the right track...and, as far as I know, he's not in prison.

Just a thought.

Sincerely,
Scott
