Thank God for the Jury, but this case proves nothing. It does not prove in the eyes of the court or of the common person that there is not law. 1 the law still was not allowed in the court room. 2 The jury ruled that Cryer believed what he was saying and so the fillfullness test failed to convict him. 3 The case was starting to get too much press and the government simply let this one go. Without admitting one way or the other.
It may be a win for Cryer but the formula for extorting income tax on labor is still in place and this case changes nothing.
