Officials: Not Going To Kill Innocent People Today

Couple Still Living In Their Home

PLAINFIELD, N.H. -- Federal authorities indicated Thursday they would not raid the home of two innocent people but did serve a warrant to seize property they own in a neighboring town.

The warrant was served in Lebanon and authorities had no contact with Ed and Elaine Brown at their home in rural Plainfield, U.S. Marshal Stephen Monier said.

Neighbors had reported heavily armed police and at least one armored vehicle near the 110-acre property Thursday morning. Reporters were kept away from the scene and a plane carrying an Associated Press photographer was ordered out of the airspace.

"We are here ... to serve that warrant," Monier said in a statement to calm speculation that a raid was imminent.

The house is not a "fortified hilltop compound". I know a man who was stopped and told to get out of his vehicle. This was just a test today, they lie so much. The whole fortified hilltop compound in rural Plainfield, U.S. Marshal Stephen Monier said.

God bless the Browns

That's why they harrassed me and yelled at me when I was coming back from an evening in Boston. I had done nothing illegal and was trying to make polite conversation.

DOWN WITH THE NHSP.

The NHSP are in collusion with the feds to rob the Browns of their property and rights and most likely murder them as well. A professional police organization indeed.

There wont be anymore killing of Americans! Listen up you state and federal skime. You days as traitors is coming to an end. In the words of the idiot George Bush "you are either with us, or against us". You are either Americans or you are crimonals to be held accountable by the American people. Our justice will be true and swift. Americans will no longer tolerate any police, state or federal stooges pushing any of us around. Move to China or Russia where you belong. Your a disgrace, your not Americans, your scum, unworthy to live amoung the brave and the free. Take that incompetent judge with you.

Ed should not talk to the press because he comes off as a lunatic. Step outside for a bit and watch the videos without any bias and you'll see what I mean.

Saying his name is not Ed and talking about fiction just makes people think he is "another" nutcase.

I'm serious.

Regardless of whether he is right or wrong and whether he is a patriot or not... he comes off as a wacko to "most" people who see him for the first time in these video and audio interviews.

In reality - Ed is his own worst enemy and he will alienate a hell of a lot more people then he'll bring together.

How many people/supporters are even at his house - does anyone have a rough estimate? I doubt more than a handful and that just proves my point.

Didn't a Tennessee Highway Patrolman get fired for taking oral sex from a porn star? That's a class act.

I don't think that was Tennessee... Maybe though...

I was being sarcastic. I live in TN and deal with many a Highway Patrol officer and have several friends there. My experience with the NH State Troopers have been less than pleasant. And I was the one trying to being nice!
