There must me an official somewhere who is willing to be interviewed on the record. If they believe so strongly in their positions. Even retired officials. Does anyone know someone we could call and get on the bridge. What about the spokesperson from the county DA office there. All Ed really needs is a negotiator who is willing to end the enforcement of the court and allow administrative negotiations. Some kind of settlement, where the government puts in writing their beliefs and Ed pays part of the assessment. I wouldn't know what to do, but someone out there has to be smarter than I am.
What assault? It doesn't even appear that the U.S. Marshal Service is wasting time watching him. Ed Brown is serving a self-imposed home detention better than most other convicted felons.
All the while, Ed and his buddies keep spinning wilder and wilder conspiracy theories, and he looks nuttier and nuttier in the mainstream media. It would be hard to find somebody who makes tax protestors look more like conspiracy kooks than Ed Brown.
