N.H. Tax Evader Prepares for Raid

CONCORD, N.H. ā€” A former militia man convicted of tax evasion prepared for a government siege Friday at his fortress-like home, but U.S. marshals gave no indication they were planning to confront him.

----------snip--------

Libertarians, militia members, patriots and Rick Stanley was thrown into what appears to be a brooding/angry stew:

The Browns' case has found support on the Internet from militia members to libertarians and anti-tax groups.

Rick Stanley, a Denver-based Web radio host and a militia leader, urged listeners to join Brown at his home.

"We are continuing to ask patriots to surround Ed Brown's property and life with a ring of armed Americans with firearms and video cameras to protect a fellow American," he said. "This is the flash point. This is the time of raised pitchforks."

AND WE WILL SIGN OFF WITH THE MOST POWERFUL WORD IN THE UNIVERSE: LOVE!

$50 says that Rick Stanley never shows up, with pitchfork or otherwise. Nor will Doug Kenline, Fred Smart, David Jahn, or dozens of other cyberpatriots whose ridiculous blogging makes the tax protestor movement look nuttier than ever.

Speaking of which, where is Bob Schulz? He's usually right in the middle of something like this because of the tremendous potential to solicit for donations. "Man in New Hampshire Under Siege; Quick Send Money to WTP", blah, blah, blah.

Maybe the Vs can have a march somewhere up there . . .

A brave solution is to get the word out about there being no tax liability law, then Americans need to stand together and Stop Paying Taxes. What are they going to do arrest everyone? I don't think so.

Section 1 of the tax code imposes a tax on income. There are only two parties to the transaction, the payor and the payee. As to the payor, it is not income but an expense. That leaves only the payee, to whom it is income and who is responsible for the tax.

Why is that so hard to understand?

Certainly, the Courts have had ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFICULTY in finding that individuals have to pay the income tax.
