I pay taxes. I don't mind the lawful ones (excise taxes, though I think they hinder Capitalistic Enterprises unfairly).
I also pay unlawful ones because they work like protection money to the mob. I pay, they leave me alone (mostly). Of course, I had enough deductions this year I didn't owe them a dime according to their (the IRS's) books.
According to the founding father's original intent for the Constitution, no one owes them a dime period.
They need the taxes to help further our fight for democracy in Iraq.
Democracy is an evil thing. It's known as mob-rule. Iraq is being exploited for two reasons:
1) Natural and political resources
2) Constant state of war to justify stripping civil liberties.
I'm not saying it was any better under Saddam, however it's the same deal. Oppression, just a different face.
And if that's what tax dollars were going to, I'd be ashamed to pay. But they aren't exactly.
The war is being financed by the banks of China. The taxes are being used to pay off other loans we made decades ago.
Riley, if you don't sue the state, fed and local govs you are foolish.
You should be meeting with attorneys right now.
