I've officially lost my respect for the blog. Can we please go back to fighting fascism and illegal taxes?

I wouldn't object to that. I didn't know it was an option, either.

I spend a fair portion of my blog time posting on my LiveJournal already.

However, I'm open to that opition. I apologize for my outburst but I've worked with the Aerospace industry as well, as the science community as an Astronomer, and find the idea we didn't land on the moon, absurd.

My opinion, of course.

They did not land on the moon because of many reasons. One being that the temperature on the surface of the moon is over 250 degrees and the suits they wore had nothing that would even suggest that they could survive one minute there. No stars in any of the photos, No moon dust on landing or take off. They are all a bunch of damned liars just like the 99% of our government.
Even though they were NOT on the "sea of tranquility" they WILL
be destined for the lake of fire.

As an astronomer, I can object to several of your statements quickly off the top of my head, and I've never really researched this myself.

The _surface_ of the moon is not two hundred and fifty degrees. Objects on the moon can heat extremely hot (up around 107 degrees centigrade [just below 220 degrees F). However, there is no air temperature, for there is no atmosphere. The suits, being white, (and gold tinted visors) reflect over 90% of the light, preventing the astronauts from cooking. In space surface temperatures in Earth's orbit for objects can reach over 300 degrees centigrade, however that would require an object to absorb more than 80% of the light.

Next, there was some dust and debris thrown about during take off, however there really shouldn't be much of any! Why? Because dust blows because of.. Dun-dun! Wind, which we know of 1st grade is moving air. Without an atmosphere, except that part of the lunar surface struck by a particle of matter ejected from the engines, nothing should be blown around. No dust indicates that take off was done in a vacuum!

And finally. Anyone who has done astrophotography knows how hard it is to get stars in an image. With fast exposure times and especially in the old TV and movie cameras, you will never get stars, except the sun and maybe, if you are lucky, a planet like Venus and Sirius. You'd need an exposure time of more than a second to capture the brighter stars, several minutes to get a decent field of them in your image.

Once again, back to fighting fascism, not defending faulty conspiracy theories!

The most perfidious way of harming a cause consists of defending it deliberately with faulty arguments.
- Friedrich Nietzsche

Keep this in mind people! LOGIC, RATIONALITY and INTELLECTUAL THOUGHT are our allies! That is the defeat of socialist fascism, not chasing wild tangents of fantasy and myth.

As you apparently censored (deleted) my last comment, I'll try again.

Yes, I still believe that man walked on the moon. The video in no way proves the contrary. It is only evidence of a rude interviewer. [How would you like to be called a liar and a coward by a person who continues to be in your face after requests for him to cease?]

p.s. Kudos to Tyler Moore.
