The Cynic's Notebook Disses Ed Brown

We won't print the profanity in the headline but here's a sample of this guy's brilliance...

You, my friends, are now looking into the face of madness. You are looking at the result of too much Walker: Texas Ranger, NASCAR, and chocolate-flavored Ensure.

Simply put, Ed Brown is an a**hole. A gun-loving, tax-dodging, braggart a**hole.

If anyone reading this is unfamiliar with Ed Brown's "plight", allow me to illuminate you.

Read more thoughtful insight here.

Major Government, Military Corruption
Trillions Missing at Defense Department

" 'According to some estimates we cannot track $2.3 trillion in transactions,' Rumsfeld admitted. $2.3 trillion ā€” that's $8,000 for every man, woman and child in America."
-- CBS News, 1/29/02, U.S. Secretary of Defense raises evidence of government, military corruption

"A GAO report found Defense inventory systems so lax that the U.S. Army lost track of 56 airplanes, 32 tanks, and 36 Javelin missile command launch-units. When military leaders were scrambling to find enough chemical and biological warfare suits to protect U.S. troops, the department was caught selling these suits as surplus on the Internet 'for pennies on the dollar.' "
-- San Francisco Chronicle, 5/18/03

"The Defense Department spent an estimated $100 million for airline tickets that were not used over a six-year period and failed to seek refunds even though the tickets were reimbursable."
-- New York Times, 6/9/04

That's why the average Americans vote to elect politicians that waste their money. One thing that the average person doesn't think about is that if you go into a grocery store and you don't like the way you're treated, you can choose not to go back. Most likely, there won't be any negative consequences for this choice. Try this with the government however and you'll likely go to jail. If the government officials are not fair, too bad. Part of the problem is that the public school system teaches you to think of government as being superior to businesses. This is not true! Businesses have an insentive to do better, but government doesn't because they get paid no matter what.

Every Great Man in History has been Persecuted by Someone...

Ed Brown is no Different.

A Great Man... Persecuted by those who are Blind to the Truth, and either Feared... or Admired... By Those who Know the Truth.

Sticks and Stones may break my bones... But WHO does the LAW hurt more?
