Dave Champion Visits the IRS

Listen to a recording of an examination hearing that Dave Champion recently attended with his client. See if you can count how many times Dave's client tries patiently to determine the government's legal authority to do what it is doing.

Listen at Mark Yannone.

There is still one last peaceful way to protest the income tax and the federal reserve. Like Bob Schulz and a few others we can go on a hunger strike. Instead of individuals we can do it as a group and all at once and try to publicize it to the current candidates for president and those in congress who refuse to answer our petitions. Create a web page called hunger for Liberty and Justice and for truth in Government. Without this one last step we have no right to all out violence and must continue to fight using words only. I for one am willing to do whatever it takes to get our leaders to answer once and for all. Let them come out and say american labor must be taxed for the good of the country. But they can't even do that. Let them come out and say Such and such US Supreme court opinion says we get to tax you any way we want. But no, They can't even say that. They say, We have NO duty to answer you.

Lets do it. Hundreds on a hunger strike during the next election could get it all out in the open once and for all.

It's not just the IRS, or the state revenue departments, it's the county social service agencies, the child support agencies, cities and local governments and all government everywhere because they are all doing the same game. We don't have to give you anymore info than we have. We have covered our collective buts and you are required to pay up.

Jeremy:
The Internal Revenue Code and the Federal Reserve Act work hand in hand. They were both passed in the same year along with "ratification" of the 16th amendment. It is a well thought out package deal. The bankers realized that they needed a way to remove dollars from the system to control inflation. Inflation was inevitable with this fiat system but the income tax acts as a vacuum cleaner to remove purchasing power from the system and keep the illusion of value in the dollar for a longer time than would be possible without it. The illusion is inevitably coming to an end however as the temptation to keep the presses rolling has been too much to resist. In a sense the value of the Federal Reserve Note, our current dollar, is really based on the taxing power of the government and the debt has been collateralized with a lien on the future labor of the people of the United States. Without an income tax Federal Reserve Notes will be worthless. Just as they needed a package deal to get us into this mess we will need a package deal to get out of it. Elimination of the Federal Reserve and a constitutional commodity backed currency must be part of the package if you want to eliminate the income tax. It will be a painful process but the longer we wait the worse it will be. I think Ron Paul is the only candidate with the political courage to get the job done. It is really going to be a bitter pill.

BE SURE to listen to the interview. It is a...

Superb illustration of a Govt run amok...

a Govt that no longer considers itself a servant of the People...

a Govt abrogating the Constitution...

a Govt with the hubris to believe that it is not required to answer a citizen's petition.

Notice one very important stance taken by the "taxpayer": he wasn't making an argument relative to the misapplication of 26 USC; rather, he was simply asking for the authoritative citation that imposes the tax...

an extremely reasonable request.
