for a split second I was hopeful the reporter was going to put the issue out in the open. But like half the tax honesty movement itself, they used the oldest arguments and twisted it to fit their conclusions.

The 16th amendment WAS ratified. Rightfully or wrongfully it is now the 16th amendment. However, the argument must be that the supreme court has ruled that it does not say the federal government can tax labor as income without following the constitution. Income is not defined as American Labor. Period.

We have to stop using the voluntary argument. Even using logic it does not make sense. The fact is we are not subject to the federal income tax and so there is nothing to volunteer to.

Now for Ed's favorite argument. And the partial truth. Expatriation. To avoid once lawfully owed tax expatriation is against the law. We Do Not Have To Expatriate to avoid anything. We are Not subject to Income Tax on Labor.

When we say "show Me the Law" We are asking for specific acts of congress that say,
1. Income equals American Labor.
2. We are subject to the federal government taxing clauses of the constitution by force.

See Acts of Congress

TITLE 1 > CHAPTER 2 > § 101 Prev | Next

§ 101. Enacting clause
How Current is This?

The enacting clause of all Acts of Congress shall be in the following form: “Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled.”
