IRS cashes in on man’s error

SHERBORN - Dusty Burke made a mistake - one that has cost him nearly $6,000.

Back in October the 79-year-old Sherborn resident mistakenly mailed a treasurer’s check made out to the Internal Revenue Service in the amount of $29,715 to the state Department of Revenue.
