I have been ticketed many time because it sticks out. I have seen a lot of accidents and wanted to try to capture them. Ofcourse it never works when I need it. I do have photos of flipped tankers, multicar pile ups and a bus kissing a wall. The 3 times I have gone to court I simply tell the judge I record video, not watch TV or movies while I drive. I explain the Screen it pointing toward traffic so its impossible to watch the screen. I did make a copy for the state patrol once when a driver tryed to run me off the road for going the speed limit. The state patrol thanked me and told me to drive in the right lane if I was going to drive the speed limit. Though my exit was in the left lane. More reason to video tape traffic.
